A child has a fever at two in the morning. The parent searches for a pharmacy on duty. Whatever they find online — that is where they go.
If your hours are not online, or are out of date, they go elsewhere. And next time too, because now they know where.
What must be accurate
- Opening hours — including holidays and duty nights
- Exact location — on a map, with parking if there is any
- Phone — tappable on a phone, not something to copy
- What you carry — not the whole catalogue, but the main categories
The legal side
Pharmacies have restrictions other businesses do not — you cannot advertise prescription drugs or promise a cure. It is better to describe a service — blood pressure checks, advice on interactions — than to list products.
Email is not a detail
You deal with suppliers, the health fund, sometimes doctors. An address on your own domain means the message does not end up in spam — which happens with free addresses more often than you think.
